Shipping policy

At Prologue & Co, each item is made to order with care, intention, and craftsmanship. Because our products are bespoke, our shipping times and approach reflect the handmade nature of our work.

📍 Shipping Area

We currently ship within South Africa only.

🚚 Courier Partner

We make use of The Courier Guy for all our deliveries. Once your parcel has been collected from us, you’ll receive an SMS and/or email with tracking details directly from The Courier Guy.

🕒 Production + Delivery Time

  • All items are made to order. Production takes between 2–6 weeks, depending on the item.

  • Once dispatched:

    • Gauteng deliveries typically arrive within 1 business day

    • Major city centres: allow up to 3 business days

    • Outlying areas: delivery time may vary — please allow extra time or contact us to confirm with the courier

💰 Shipping Fees

  • Flat rate: R100 for smaller items

  • Free shipping on all orders over R1500

📦 Packaging

We package items securely for safe transit.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • All items are made-to-order. We do not keep stock on hand.

  • Once a parcel leaves our studio, risk and liability transfer to the customer.

  • While we do our best to deliver on time, unexpected delays due to load shedding, courier backlogs, or public holidays may occasionally occur.

  • If your area is considered remote or outlying, please expect a longer delivery time, or contact us beforehand for confirmation.
